The Association for Financial Technology (AFT) is a membership association for companies and executives that provide technology, data and services to U.S. financial institutions, including banks, credit unions, lenders and payment companies. Founded in 1972, it focuses on building relationships among members, providing business and industry intelligence and running programmes on issues and trends shaping the sector. AFT brings members together at summits held twice a year, and its activities also include Women in Fintech and a set of subcommittees. Since 1985 it has awarded scholarships to employees of member companies and their families. Member companies listed on its site include Access Softek, Alkami Technology and Amount.
