Z Venture Capital (ZVC) is the corporate venture capital arm of LY Corporation, the integrated company formed from Z Holdings, LINE and Yahoo Japan. It is the successor to YJ Capital, established in August 2012, and took its current form in April 2021 through a merger with LINE Ventures. ZVC has offices in Tokyo, Seoul and San Francisco and invests across Japan, Korea, the United States and Southeast Asia. Its fund history includes the JPY 30 billion ZVC1 fund in 2021 and the JPY 30 billion ZVC2 fund in 2025, and recent investments announced on its site include Ocean, QueryLift and Setlog.
