About
Wavemaker Ventures is an early-stage venture capital firm investing in enterprise, deep tech and sustainability startups in Southeast Asia, and its site lists it as one of the Wavemaker Partners funds alongside Wavemaker Impact and Wavemaker Growth. Since 2012 it has made more than 200 investments, and it says it looks for undervalued companies with solutions to meaningful problems in the region. Portfolio companies named on its site include the Philippine B2B platform GrowSari, backed at seed in 2017, the financial crime prevention company Silent Eight, backed at seed in 2015, and the affordable housing company Lhoopa, backed at Series A in 2022. Past exits include TradeGecko, acquired by Intuit in 2020, and Luxola, acquired by LVMH in 2015. Beyond capital, it offers founders support with fundraising, strategy, talent services and PR and communications.
