TDR Capital is a London-headquartered private equity firm investing in European mid-market businesses through a single strategy. Its three core sectors are business services, financial services, and consumer and leisure, and its flagship funds typically make investments of €250 to 600 million for majority control positions. A complementary Special Opportunities Fund makes investments of around €30 to 80 million in minority, majority and structured positions in smaller, high-growth businesses. The firm has raised €20 billion since inception, has a second office in Luxembourg, and its first fund, TDR I, was a 2003 vintage.
