About
Swedfund International AB is Sweden's development finance institution, with a mission to reduce poverty through sustainable investments in developing countries. Established in 1979, it is a state-owned company managed by the Swedish Ministry of Finance. It prioritises investments in Africa, South and Southeast Asia, and Ukraine, across three sectors: energy and climate, financial inclusion and food systems. Alongside its investments, its Project Accelerator finances feasibility studies and capacity-building for public-sector infrastructure projects in developing countries. The Swedfund Business Accelerator supports Swedish SMEs seeking to establish or expand commercial partnerships in Ukraine.
