About

STV is a venture capital and growth equity firm that invests in technology companies across the Middle East and North Africa. Since 2018 it has invested in more than 40 startups in the region, and portfolio companies named on its site include Tabby and Salla. It has launched a $100 million AI Fund backed by Google to support AI-native startups in MENA, and the fund's first investment was co-leading the seed round of Arabic voice AI company Sawt. STV also offers NICE (Non-dilutive Investment in Callable Equity), a Shariah-compliant, revenue-linked alternative to venture debt for startups generating $3 million or more in revenue. It also runs STV Alpha, a track for people looking to gain experience in venture investing and company building.
