Nubank is the Brazilian digital bank operated by Nu, a digital financial institution serving customers in Brazil, Mexico and Colombia. Nu states that it serves more than 140 million customers across those three markets. It has recently launched operations in the United States, along with Nu Global, a multi-currency account for moving money across more than 35 countries. The company describes its platform as built on proprietary technology and data, and reports a team of more than 10,000 employees from over 50 nationalities.
