Cavalry Ventures, which now operates under the name NAP, is a European venture capital firm investing at pre-seed and seed stage, often before a company has a product or revenue. It typically leads rounds with initial investments of €1 million to €3 million plus follow-on, and focuses on vertical AI built by domain-expert founders in sectors such as advanced manufacturing, energy, logistics, compliance, construction and healthcare. It does not invest in consumer companies, outside Europe or at Series A and later. Its network includes more than 250 entrepreneurial LPs and industry operators, and its portfolio includes Aleph Alpha, Usercentrics, PlanRadar and WhenThen, which was acquired by Mangopay.
