N49P is a Canadian pre-seed venture firm that backs technology founders with Canadian ties, often as their first outside investor. Its partners are Alex Norman, Doug Penick and Omar Dhalla, and the firm traces its roots to launching the TechTO community and leading AngelList Canada. In May 2026 it announced a US$25 million first close of N49P Fund IV, which has a US$70 million target and limited partners including Northleaf Capital Partners.
