Lightspeed India is the India and Southeast Asia arm of Lightspeed, whose offices in those regions belong to Lightspeed India Partners LLP, an investment advisory entity that operates independently of Lightspeed Management Company, which runs the firm's US, European and Israeli offices. It has raised a $500 million fund for India and Southeast Asia, its fourth India fund, following a $275 million third India fund in 2020. In announcing that fund, its partners named consumer internet, SaaS, fintech and edtech as continuing focus areas, alongside newer areas such as climate tech, cross-border payments and web3. Portfolio companies named in its published material include payments company Razorpay, ShareChat, Udaan and Innovaccer in India, and Grab in Southeast Asia.
