Lead Edge Capital is a growth equity firm investing in software, internet and tech-enabled businesses, with $9 billion in assets under management. It invests $50 million to $400 million in private and public technology companies, through minority and buyout deals that fund growth, M&A or liquidity for shareholders. Its capital comes from a network of more than 700 executives, entrepreneurs and dealmakers, whom it connects with portfolio companies as customers, advisers and partners. Its published criteria include revenue of $10 million or more, annual growth of 25% or more and gross margins of 70% or more. The firm invested in Wise in 2019 and has offices in New York, Santa Barbara and London.
