Jungle Ventures is a Singapore-based venture capital firm that invests from seed to growth stage in consumer, B2B and software technology companies in India and Southeast Asia. It states assets under management of more than US$1 billion and a typical initial cheque size of US$500,000 to US$20 million, and it reserves follow-on capital for its portfolio companies. Through First Cheque@Jungle it backs second-time founders and experienced operators at idea, pre-seed and seed stage, typically leading with US$2 million to US$5 million split between equity and a convertible note, and aims to lead the following Series A. Portfolio companies named on its site include the digital lender Kredivo, Turtlemint, which provides technology for independent insurance and financial advisers, Moglix and Livspace. Its founding partners are Amit Anand and Anurag Srivastava.
