About
InfoEdge Ventures is the early-stage venture investing arm of Info Edge Ltd., whose founder is Sanjeev Bikhchandani. It was set up in 2019 with support from Temasek, following Info Edge's earlier startup investments such as Zomato and PolicyBazaar, and reports a fund size of US$475 million and more than 90 early-stage portfolio companies. It invests at pre-seed, seed and Series A in tech-enabled startups in India across sectors including fintech, consumer tech, deeptech, e-commerce and agritech. Cheques can range from US$300,000 to US$5 million, and it prefers to be the first institutional investor. Its funds are registered with SEBI as Category II Alternative Investment Funds and managed by Smartweb Internet Services Limited.
