Industrifonden is a Swedish evergreen venture capital fund that invests in early-stage technology and life science companies. It was founded by the Swedish government in 1979 as an independent foundation and now operates as an independent venture capital fund. It usually invests at seed or Series A with a first ticket of €1 to 5 million and can invest considerably more over a company's lifetime. Because it is evergreen, no fund term forces an exit. Its focus is Sweden, with reach across the wider Nordic region, and it runs four strategies: life science, software, growth, and deep tech and planetary health. Companies it has backed include QlikTech, Oatly, CellaVision, Inriver and Calliditas.
