About
Icehouse Ventures is an Auckland-based venture capital firm that invests in New Zealand founders building global technology companies, from pre-seed through to IPO. It traces its origins to Ice Angels, an angel network formed in 2003, and raised its first fund in 2013. The firm reports more than $800m invested in over 390 Kiwi-founded companies and a co-investor network of more than 3,000 investors. In 2019 Simplicity KiwiSaver, Jarden and Sir Stephen Tindall's K1W1 became shareholders in the firm. Its programmes include First Cut, a fund for founders under 30, and The Fellowship, a programme for entrepreneurial high school students.
