About
East Ventures is a sector-agnostic venture capital firm, founded in 2009, that invests in technology companies across Southeast Asia from seed to growth stage. The firm reports that over its first 15 years it invested in more than 300 tech companies, and portfolio companies named on its site include the payments company Xendit, the automotive marketplace Carro and Fore Coffee, which listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2025. In 2023 it announced a US$250 million Growth Plus fund for growth-stage portfolio companies, a US$30 million healthcare fund and a US$100 million fund with SV Investment for the Southeast Asia and South Korea corridor. In 2025 SEEDS Capital appointed East Ventures as a partner to co-invest in Singapore-based deep tech startups. The firm signed the UN-supported Principles for Responsible Investment in 2022 and publishes the East Ventures Digital Competitiveness Index on Indonesia's digital economy.
