Credo Ventures is a Prague-based venture capital firm investing in founders from Central and Eastern Europe and the region's global diaspora, typically leading pre-seed rounds. It has led rounds since 2009, writes cheques of $1 million to $5 million, and states five funds and more than 100 companies backed. It says it backs people rather than following a sector thesis and works hands-on with technical founders. Companies named on its site include ElevenLabs, where it led the pre-seed round, UiPath, where it co-led the pre-seed, and Wabi. Alongside its Prague office, the firm has an office in Kraków, Poland.
