CDP Venture Capital is Italy's national venture capital fund manager, investing in Italian startups directly and through other funds. It is 70% owned by CDP Equity, the holding company of the Cassa Depositi e Prestiti Group, and 30% by Invitalia, and it is registered in Italy's register of alternative investment fund managers. Its 15 direct and indirect funds cover technology transfer, pre-seed and seed, early stage, late stage and cross-phase investing, and include the Accelerators, Italia Space Venture, Artificial Intelligence and VenturItaly funds. Priority sectors include AI and cybersecurity, agrifoodtech, spacetech, healthcare and life sciences, cleantech, industrytech, and infratech and mobility. It has offices in Rome and Milan and also has a national accelerator network of 20 programmes and six national technology-transfer hubs.
