Advent International is a global private equity firm that invests across five sectors: business and financial services, consumer, healthcare, industrial and technology. Within business and financial services it covers sub-sectors including banking and insurance, financial technology and payments, and reports more than 100 investments in that sector across 27 countries. The firm pursues a range of transaction types, from equity deals and leveraged buyouts to carve-outs and public-to-private deals, supported by its Portfolio Support Group, Operating Partners and Operations Advisors. In fintech, it backed Brazilian digital investment platform Easynvest (now NuInvest), whose customer base grew to 1.5 million during Advent's ownership.
