ADB Ventures is the venture arm of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), investing in technology startups with climate and impact-focused solutions in emerging Asia. It provides venture capital to early-stage companies and, through SEED Capital+, seed capital to very early-stage companies piloting climate-focused solutions. It reports more than 60 portfolio companies in over 18 countries across Asia, and its focus areas include clean energy, sustainable mobility, sustainable agriculture, green finance and inclusive communities. Through NextFin Asia, a partnership with The LHoFT and Luxembourg's Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, its NextFin Asia SEED Fund can invest up to US$400,000 in Southeast Asian fintech startups advancing financial inclusion. Backers named on its site include Finland's Ministry for Foreign Affairs, Korea's Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Climate Investment Funds.
