Zerodha is an Indian stockbroker that began operations in 2010 with the aim of lowering the cost, technology and support barriers investors face. It pioneered the discount broking model in India and builds its own platforms, including the Kite trading app and the Coin mutual-fund service. It also runs Varsity, an open investor-education initiative, and Rainmatter, a fintech fund and incubator.
