Machankura lets people use Bitcoin on a basic phone. Users send and receive Bitcoin (sats) tied to their phone number over USSD, without an internet connection, and can set a username, redeem vouchers and send to Lightning addresses. It runs on the Bitcoin Lightning Network and is available in several African countries, including Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda and Zambia.
