Cuvva offers short-term, app-based car and van insurance in the UK, with cover available by the hour, day, week or month. It launched app-based temporary car insurance in 2015 and lets drivers buy standalone comprehensive cover to drive someone else's car without affecting the owner's own policy. Cuvva says it has more than 1.8 million customers.
